A number of experts see the project as a historical turn from dependency of Ukrainian cinema of russian productions towards European future. The artistic supervisor of the project was the Oscar-winning Polish filmmaker Andrej Wajda. The production of the film was patronaged by the then President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Alexander began his career with a highly successful music video “My Passion” for the band PRIME TIME, which was the reason the band was picked by the band Linkin Park for the joint performance in St. Petersburg in 2012.
